SK's spells and epic put them well ahead of a Paladin in PvE and PvP dps.
An epic proc and a few life taps and you're 500+ dmg more than a Paladin already.
The other huuuuuge disadvantage Paladins have are 0 finishing abilities PvP.

I also had 2nd highest dmg weapon hybrid weapon and still hit for 22s. (52 dmg)
