No. I specifically used the numbers 87% and 13% (13% of America is black) so that there would be no equivocation about the fact I was using the term slavery literally. In a direct democracy, there are no fundamental rights. This permits a tyranny of the majority, whereby the rights of the minority can be trampled by the majority at whim.
