Wow pvp can be fun doing arenas with friends and such. At high level play there is quite a bit of tactics.
But it gets boring fast. There are no consequences in pvp. You can just be terrible and keep playing and eventually gear up. Most battles are contrived, as well. There's zero meaningful world pvp and raid zones are instanced so you never have to fight over territory. It's a giant treadmill.
