Oh yummm. Wild-caught Alaskan King salmon is my most favorite food ever. If I could, I'd eat it every day. It's expensive but I refuse to eat the farmed shit from the east coast so I splurge once or twice a year and buy some filets from Vital Choice (the company I linked up above).
I hate to say it but I think if you bought your salmon for $3.50 a pound they might be pulling one over on you and passing off farmed and dyed pink to look more like the real thing. That happened to me before. The real wild caught pacific salmon sells for $10 - $12 a pound (or something like that) in a grocery store. If I'm wrong just tell me to shut up. Lol
