He was also force fed to the American public on every major network and primetime news, due to the fact he had the #1 television show on TV at one time. It was pretty hard not to hear every detail about him or the big fall.
Point of this thread is he claimed he had everything under control, lied to a respected journalists face about drug use, family, and his mental health on primetime news. He was found to be a fraud 4 years later, and has been rightly called out.
And then it turns out to be worse than anyone could have guessed. This was the meltdown of all meltdowns, don't think anyone can top this one.

a guy that does tons of dope has lied and done stupid shit? shocking
at least there were people to help him have sex and spend money and do blow, rather then helping him get rid of his addiction right
