There really isn't anything unique or interesting about the new SW game. Without that IP it would just be another steam midweek madness title in a month.

I said the same thing about Star Wars Galaxies after trying it out.
Didn't stop tens of thousands of fanboys from hanging out in cantinas and grinding class xp in hope of unlocking Jedi.
Sometimes strong IP can make up for meh gameplay. Honestly it doesn't have to be stellar, it just has to be adequate.
