This usually happens to people on a wifi connection, not sure what it is but if you plug an ethernet cable in the problem will disappear (and give you less lag of course).
Other than that, just log out and back in a few times and it should pop. If someone in your house is streaming or using Netflix or whatever to cap out your connection then it will take more than a couple of tries
