It seems many people supporting the "satire" of Islam under the free speech argument don't have any revered religious icons in their own lives (Atheists, Agnostics, Nihilists). This does not surprise me. As "Free speech" reeks of a sheltered Western Orientalist argument for these non-religious folks. And it sounds ridiculous.
Satire was traditionally reserved for public figures and matters of government. Wholesale bashing and slandering of a religion makes free speech look bad. Just like the criminal who is using free speech as his defense after making vicious felony threats. Bad bad bad.
You need to respect some things in life.

Disagree. That is their culture; in a Muslim nation they can do as they wish. If they are going to emigrate to the West, they need to embrace liberalism, free speech, free markets, democracy, etc.
