Why would someone join TMO over Empire? What benefit is there to that?
TMO works for them - yet still get YT'd by them.
Lose the "safety" of being tagged the same as half/more the server.

I prefer to play with the resistance/underdog guilds. The benefit to many members of TMO, is that we're farming loot at a bonkers rate, and distributing it between a small group. Most of our players these days go from rags to full skyshrine before their application period's up.
We don't farm to pay tribute to Empire. You nerds have been getting trolled so hard with this "cuck tax" it's not even funny and everyone in TMO knows this. Colgate even ruined the joke and revealed what actually happened in blue RnF last week but I guess it went over your guys' heads.
