We've been fighting for a thousand years, right? Don't you think that if we were going to impose global hegemony we'd have already accomplished it? I think it's more logical to assume all sides will need to make concessions before we can ever obtain Roddenberry's utopia. It's a beautiful thought, though. On the Enterprise, no one sees color. No one even knows Jordy is black. Not even Jordy.
