flip to the other side for a second, those who really do insist on soloing despite newbie gear (necros can pull it off) should learn quicker that certain camps aren't a good idea...and camps usually 24/7 occupied are sometimes available.
So solo if you must but you're better off in at least a duo...definitely make friends if you can, most people are friendly - just stay alert
