In other news pals, I've completed 3 weeks at the gym going every day except the weekends (so 15 days) and I've run for a total of about 8 hours and feel my fitness has really improved. It feels great to see that happening.
I started out running at 11 km/h (the average "filthy casual" 10k run time here is about 60 minutes so that seemed like a good starting point to improve on that). I'd run that for 30 minutes of running, and in the beginning I took 7 minutes of breathers to hit 30 running minutes.
Yesterday I ran at 11.8km/h for 35 minutes with only a 2 minute breather (so 37 total on the machine), and plan to get up to 38-40 minutes at 12km/h by the end of next week.
Start leveling yourselves up today pals, good health is important.
