There is also the case of the Eye of Innoruuk that BDA gave to Slydexx. Slydexx had the eye for over a year before leaving BDA to join a far more superior guild. Slydexx then MQ'd the eye to a necro in the new guild and BDA began to demand the eye be returned.

The eye was never given to him, but he was allowed to use until needed for an epic. But you already know this.
