Oh and accept that everyone you fight has about 5-10yrs more experience on the intricacies of the mechanics
And that there's no sheep (easy kills). I'm not saying everyone is a wolf (even on private pvp servers two- thirds of the players are capable, at best), but you have a long road before you upgrade from sheep who gets killed by mechanics to capable status.
If you're not a capable pvper in other games tho you'll get trounced in EQ. Definitely hook up with someone who will teach you if you want to stand a chance.
