Actually, that's not really true. Look at the crime rate in poor white areas like Appalachia. Not all poor people are the same and there do seem to be racial differences across all income brackets. For instance, look at the homicide rate broken down by race and income. Even among the poor, it would seem homicide rates are much higher among our melanin enriched brothers.
