Worst advice ever for a monk, particularly the advice on heart spiders and Dark Deathsinger.

Spider poison will hurt bad, moreso for a class that can't heal effectively, cure poison or buff resists.
I can't fathom why a monk would willingly trash not only their Bard faction but also Knights of Truth faction. Thats a good way to get KoS in all of North Freeport. Guess you'll need to find another bank to use. I suppose you could undo the bard faction by farming the shit out of Mistmoore, but AFIAK the only way to repair KoT faction is killing Militia guards in E/W FP. Then good luck getting to your guild trainer as a monk. It seems like such a bad plan all around for a mediocre single spawn camp.
On a slightly related note, Dark is terrible choice to camp when Drizda Tunesinger in Feerrott is also 25 (though inexplicably had slightly more hp) and drops 2-5 PLAT per kill, versus Dark who drops a few silver and maybe a gold.

So this is somewhat helpful to the OP: at 13-14, you might try Sirens in OoT for solo exp. Sirens are level 12, have low hp, don't cast, aren't social and drop decent coin and mermaid scales that vendor fairly well, but also are used in the mage water focus quest. theres 2 on a rock in the middle of OoT, and another single a short swim away. A second camp of 2 is on the first group of rocks as you zone in from Freeport. They don't turn light blue until 17.
