Cleric shield - 40 AC, 75 HP/Mana, 7 All Resists
Druid shield - 33 AC, 50 HP/40 Mana, 7 All Resists
Same mobs drop these items... let's just cut 7 AC 25 HP and 35 Mana from Druid shield for no reason.

Don't worry shamans get boned too, but not as much as druids. Druids do get the style points for the frogskin graphic.
