Sirken never said you couldn't use entrance as a camp, just that only one guild can claim it. If everyone else moved up to setup camps (thus leaving entrance open), what is the 3rd guild left to do? The next place to camp would be near Fountain and that's a death trap.
The other option is to rush Inny's room but that generally results in massive trains because people get lost etc. You get way less mobs (or none if you coordinate it right) with a few monks running up to take DT/train mobs away/tag out Inny solo.
