Server is fun and will be fun if you take the right approach.
People saying server is shit are usually in one of two camps.
1. Empire members who don't see any pvp due to their raid schedule
2. Opposition members who desire to compete for top dog status but can't
Don't worry about making it to the top and find people you enjoy playing with. Join Thunderdome and level up then try out some other guilds and see if who you like. A well played bard is always welcome in guilds and groups.
