Uh, yes it is. Do you not realize that a network admin can still see abnormal network traffic even if it's encrypted? If you're on an SSH tunnel for multiple hours a day, it's not like your network traffic is invisible. If using remote access for multiple hours a day isn't a part of your job, then this will seem odd if it's caught. Like someone else mentioned, all a network admin has to do at that point is remote access onto your computer and see what you're doing.
You better not be using the default port. Even then, if you're using some port that nobody else is using, then that would be another red flag.
