Spells on the TLP server are much stronger for the most part than they are here (many 1-60 spells were changed around the TSS expansion to make leveling easier). They also have focus effects on the TLP which we do not here. Your ranger on the TLP also has more spells and higher skill caps than here.
That said, I don't think it's a good idea to pick a class based on strength or server need. You should definitely play a class that fits your play style and that you enjoy playing. Zero classes are non-viable, and any class can be useful when played to their strengths. I made the mistake of rolling my monk based off how strong the class is, and my rogue based off server need... both are now collecting dust while I have FUN playing a ranger.

Really cool perspective and thanks for sharing it. Those rangers are so much fun, track alone is its own little game. I just did some comps and Inferno shock does up to 600 on TLP and 250 on P1999 so yeah, that makes a bit more sense now on the differences.
Glad to hear the perspective that zero-classes are non viable, that doesn't always come across on forum posts =)
