Rabid wolves can easily be done for 5-11 at least. The pelt turn-in gives great exp, even in the end. Last time I did that, I think it took about 60 pelts for those levels. 6.5 minute respawn with 2 spawns, so like 3.5 hours of AFK camping. And you'll have 120 plat at the end of it.
