But i mean with at least 2 shots to the head and neck, Youd think someone would at least drop from the impact or pain. Hell, little rocks hurt like hell going 50fps.

Last Deer I got:
The bullet went directly through the lung, hit the bottom part of the heart and through the other lung.
The deer jumped up and hopped up the hill for about 10 seconds trying to flee before it stiffened and fell.
Sorry about being graphic, but ya the only time you would see someone or something drop right away is if you severed a spine or tendons...and the list goes on.
EDIT:
First deer I got I shot in the spine right at the shoulder blades. I disabled it's 2 front legs immediately and it ran/hopped off on its back legs.
