There was a time before this was realized and we merrily made a ton of dark elf/high elf etc cultural armor...still time intensive farming essence of shadows/elf blood/etc but it was good stuff.
I didn't sell my dark elf set when I left P99, someone is borrowing it... too sentimental to sell
