Sure.

Empire is the only high end raiding guild currently.

The sort of "culture" on Red since its inception is one large, organized guild holding down the majority of spawns, with a lot of smaller, less organized guilds that have maybe the same lofty goals without a similar follow through. But oftentimes there are smaller guilds that don't care to raid.

The opposition, or "resistance," as people like to call it, through its dozens of different iterations (with the exact same leaders every time), have failed to present any meaningful or long lasting results as a unified group of players with common goals. In essence, they're not good at being unified because they all want and prioritize different things.

My genuine opinion is that there are a lot of selfish players on Red, including myself to some degree. Many people let that selfishness get in the way of the bigger picture, though. Lots of players want to raid or contest in big, meaningful fights with lots at stake for hours on end, but unfortunately that doesn't happen very often here.

That doesn't mean there isn't the capacity for an uprising of players to contest against the bigger, more dominant guild. Many of the smaller guilds just don't have any interest in trying anymore, let alone trying in an honest way (once again, they're selfish). And that's perfectly valid to feel that way - Empire fields 80-90 right now on NToV runs. The gear spread is only going to increase as more time passes.

As for late night stuff, Australians and Euros are spread among many different factions, so the late night crews of each guild vary. Oftentimes Dragon Alley/ Scout Charisa are up during the night time and the Holgresh camp/ whole Velious zones are empty when the population is in the double digits.

There just aren't enough people online during that time to keep key or important spawns down, even when it may take minimal effort. It's actually kind of surprising. It would be an even bigger draw for Euros to swap to Red. Unfortunately, there is no Euro raiding guild. A Euro guild could certainly be created, but not with the same amount of players as one from the US.

It would be a very effective guild if they could field enough players to raid Velious during those offpeak hours. There are a lot of raid targets in Velious being left up overnight (in NToV, in WToV, Zlandicar, Sleeper's Tomb, Vindi is up very often).

Right now Gozzrem, Telkorenar, Zlandicar, Vindi and Dain (these are just off the top of my head) are all up and have been for days.

It's a good time to try Red. It can also be a bad time. It just depends on what you bring to the table.
