No, actually you are considered the murderer by law. You can be tried for First degree murder and get the death penalty, while the person who actually did the murder can get off with a lighter sentence.
See here. If a corporation manages to convince a government to take action to harm it's citizens, the corporation is still the one ultimately responsible.
