DAP is just like any other Druid, they made that character to make plat, plain and simple. Lets not sugar coat it. DAP is NOT free, same as someone that is not in the "Guild".

DAP please do not come off like you are some second coming of Jesus Christ. We have been Porting people since this game started, Druids and Wizards alike. It is NOT a free service, don't act like you are doing tons of people a favor. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]
And please don't tell me every DAP member is going to give up eating, sex, answering the phone, door, etc, in a heartbeat to port someone!! |
I agree with you in walking, it makes the world feel bigger, but no where did we say we are the saviors of Norrath, not even close. We off a service, just like you, we just simply state it as a service, not a donation. Yeah we are here to help AND make plat.
Like I am sure others sell loot in EC to help others, telling them that plat is not necessary but donations are greatly appreciated. Players do it to make money, to eventually buy the items they covet, let's face it. Sellers are helping other players to get loot they don't have the time or means (guild raids for example) to get, and offer it to them for a price. Players are offering their service for an item, if the players don't want to buy it (easy way), they can go farm it (long way). You just give them the option, same as DaP. We offer ports, sometimes cheap, sometimes free, but if paying for it is out of reach, take the long run.
