Red 99 is simply 1 massive guild farming the server with no competition. You can't even sit in the tunnel and look good!
I think the biggest problem (with both Red and Blue, really) is the lack of any game mechanics to balance guild size and efficiency. For example, imagine the game engine assigned a % of mobs killed to each guild and adjusted the loot table accordingly. If a dominating guild like that gets over 50% of all raid targets kills Vulak, they might get only 3 items instead of 4, while a guild that gets 10% of all raid targets might get 6 items instead of 4. So there would be a strong incentive for big guilds to either break up or pass on raid targets.
