You're right, it's not just about you personally. However, surely you can understand how frustrating it is to be a non-raider and see the raiders enjoying a non-classic timeline while my wizard gets the shaft, so to speak. The "it's classic" argument kind of breaks down. It's hard not to see that as unfair.
