Another issue with having an open-invite, 200+ person guild is that you can't control the actions of every single person, every single day of the week. Some members just don't care, know the GM staff likely won't punish them, and revel in the thrill of an easy kill - like a rottweiler chasing a lame rabbit.
I've witnessed Empire leadership attempt to keep things classy/mature/honorable innumerous times, but herding cats is an uphill battle.
The solution is not to have armed guards at every street intersection ready to hose down perpetrators with fully automatic bans. The solution is to repeal, rework, and re-release a functioning and logical LNS system.
A simple /corpsesummon command that summons your corpse to your bind spot (MUST be a city zone) and disables you from doing PVP damage or casting PVP heals/buffs (self only) for one hour would alleviate the problem entirely, and would do wonders toward the health of the server.

If you want to have a big guild, you have to control your big guild. If the few people who act like retards were booted from both sides they would be outcasted and quit. Or they would reroll and act notmal.
This is a video game, not a cut throat game of russian roulette. People just need to calm down and let this server grow already. Empire wins cause they have the gear and numbers. Like when nihilum had the gear and numbers.
