I was getting the same error.
Did you back up your old UIfolder? Make sure you check your log for errors, it will tell you want happened. Mine was looking for some files I didnt have in the folder, so I rebuilt the UI folder with the updated files and replace the old UI .tgas I needed and it is back to normal. For me, the error was caused because the files in the composition were not in the folder.
