Even if they tried to disarm the American people there'd still be 1000s of unofficial weapons hidden away. If someone wants to shoot someone, they'll find a way.
Here in England we're 99% disarmed, so we get our fishing knives, kitchen knives, baseball bats etc and carry on regardless if we feel the need. Can't stamp out violent behavior completely, this isnt
