Of course all of the uber items will be camped mostly 24/7 - I'm sure the same was true when this server was brought up, though I barely see any rubicite. (somehow belt/cloak are in though, which I didn't think came back until the cazic re-vamp).

Depended on the item. In the early days P1999 only had a small population. Manastones were camped pretty heavily, but not so heavily that the camp didn't open most days at some point or another**. I'd put it on par with something like FBSS nowdays. Guises rotted regularly and most everyone who wanted one, had one. I *didn't* care about getting one and ended up with one anyway simply because they rotted so often. Rubicite wasn't farmed heavily because CT was very broken and few people wanted to put up with the hassle of bothering with it. Also fine plate armor was available anyway.

**A lot of those early manastones were heavily farmed by cheaters and ended up going off the server due to various ban waves. some folks had bags full of them only to wind up banned. As such, while manastones still aren't particularly rare, they're not so common as folks might expect, either.
