Monk's will be more ridiculous with Avatar and at the very end Triple Attack. Plus weapons better than Wu's Fist of OP-in-Kunarkness.
But as I mentioned above, Damage Shield is #1 DPS in Velious if your MT and RTs are maxing it. Completely unresistable, guaranteed DMG is the best kind.
