He didn't hassle anyone. He disagreed with their stance on this particular political issue and pointed other people in their direction to bring attention to their practice of publicly attacking people they disagree with.
They then publicly attacked him, and then claimed they were being harassed. Which is exactly what they were doing to both him, and the person for which he was defending the right to not be publicly attacked and harassed.
I think it is interesting that these two harassers are claiming someone harassed them by disagreeing with their harassing tactics...
