Haste will make a minimal difference for a pally in a group setting. Their DPS is sub par to begin with, and they rely on spells for aggro. I would rather spend the money on survivability.

I would Not worry too much about being able to "survive". Hell you are a healer, and have LoH, and you will probably have a "healer" in the group".

Yeah you need to be able to hold agro , but no one wants to beat on a Trash mobs for 5 minutes to kill it either for a lack of DPS. You sort of are the DPS like it or not. Not every group is going to have a Epic Rogue, and a Epic Monk in it helping out.

So I am still pushing for Haste like it or not. If you are worried about losing 5K on a FBSS, well than re roll a Mage and go naked.
If you think equipping a Tank is the cheap way to go well good luck with that.
