I believe one of the biggest things preventing that kind of lighthearted play is the culture of humiliation that exists on this server. People tease and insult others when they die/lose/flee/plug. Rather than be "sore winners," people should just say "GF" and reap whatever benefits they've gained by winning the PvP.

Another issue that makes things get heated is frequent accusations of bad behavior. Best to let bygones be bygones and let the PvP decide.

If baseball players or other professional athletes behaved like some people here do, they'd be kicked off the team before long. Sportsmanship matters.

I can't say I'm optimistic about changing the behavior or communication style of some of Red's denizens, but perhaps we can make at least some difference. Gzaz and anyone else, let's try to change the culture here a little bit.
