Everything from Velious raids got buffed, some more than once. I recall one patch that revamped NToV loot to the degree that they were entirely different items in some cases, different slots/classes.
Velious was kinda a disaster at first, that's why I was hoping to hear some sort of official response. However, I'll just trust the system.
