Yea this is truth, one thing many people don't realize because often times some of those jumps suck. Going from pure melee low dark blue to black/yellow casters for example.

I will say, one of my favorite things about classic EQ was the Hill Giant/Griffin complex. Where a zone designed to be level 5-15, has a few level 30-35 mobs roaming about that high levels randomly slay and may help some noobs while they're at it. I really wish it had been kept this way onward through Kunark.

Like some level 55 frost Giants in Dreadlands or some level 30 forest Giants in Field of Bones.
