So yeah most of us are normal here on Blue

This is laughable my friend lol (this is not a flame)
Red would see an exponential increase in population if it managed to even hit 500-600 average population. The population is still just too low to attract people. The low population has more to do with the timing of the launch of P99 Red and less to do with the fact that people "don't like PvP"
While leveling on Red you won't even see PvP for a long time due to the low population. A lot of the social aspects of the game are lost not because its PvP but simply because there is a lack of people with whom to interact.
I also believe the whole "Bluebie" argument is perfectly valid. The fact of the matter is that most of the players who play Blue really aren't great at EQ and really don't give a shit. The definition of "hardcore" on Blue is not being an excellent player and challenging yourself. "Hardcore" on Blue is poopsocking for 12 hours at a time (which requires 0 skill, just time) or leveling your 5th alt at Chardok (0 skill, way too much time and non-playing of EQ) and a great deal of the players are wannabes who came from other more recent MMOs. These players have no interest in adding another dimension of challenge and depth to the game, they just want their "nanna-nanna-boo-boo" cash camp rule lawyering and Forumquest. TL-DR : nubs
I have seen a deeply disturbing amount of sociopathic behavior in my years on this server. Blue players are -no better- than Red players. That claim is absolutely ludicrous. I'd say they're worse because they want to lay claim to their pixels they will create and abide by self-imposed and negotiated rules that have nothing to do with the actual mechanics of the game im order to rule lawyer their way out of everything. They do this for ----years----- instead of going over to Red where they just don't have to deal with that bullshit at all.
This is by no stretch of the imagination "normal" behavior, let's get real.
