the weatehr was too hot to attack the japanese back line the way sampson did. The eng forwards were sapped of energy within 30mins! He should have had 5 midfielders on and played for freekicks, then at 55th min throw on the tall attackin players and rain the crosses in.
I could rant on and on about this `performance` am just shocked how badly they got it wrong.....they been pretty damn goood up till now in this Wcup, was beggining to have faith in the manager lol. However he seems not to account for the high temepratures in this game....its was way hotter than the last one.
didnt matter about the own goal, eng had already lost the game imo, was only matter of time before japan out passed us in extra time.
....and now the small task of beating germany to get any medal.....thats gonna be a weird game!
