it's not just a kitchen counter top, it is his kitchen. look at the floor. look at the shoddy job on hanging the cabinet doors. this is a picture of a shitty efficiency apartment. he's supposed to have a hot plate where that laptop is. i've seen pictures of prison cells bigger than this.
