Leaderboard just adds a little fun to the game when you get bored of pve. I support the leaderboard but I have never posted stats about others kdr. I could careless about others stats. Its just fun and adds another little bit of fun to a great game.
Leaderboard in no way shows how good you're at the game also. It just adds some fun to pvp. Get your tissues and shine box if you're actually happy without the leaderboard.
