I for one love the snow, and downstate Michigan doesn't even get that much of it. People in Detroit think it snows a lot there but they get maybe a couple of feet a year. I lived in the Jackson area for most of my life and some years it didn't even snow until close to Christmas.
The place I currently live is awesome (
http://www.weather.com/outlook/weath...0-12-07?page=9), there's usually at least a foot on the ground by November and the ski hills open in Late December and run through March. As I type this we've got 54.5 inches of snow this season and it's 6 degrees out. Perfect weather!
