- maintain a 3.0 GPA or higher during those two-years
- 1-year observational externship at a local jail as a C/O
- completely free of misdemeanors and felonies including juvenile record
- Ability to pass yearly classes involving race relations, ethics, and law
- strenuous psychological testing by THREE third-party sources
- Bi-monthly board reviews with 100% transparency
Upon hiring you must sign a contract for weekly urine screens testing for alcohol and drugs.
Another thing they should do is take away, take-home squad cars and those other bullshit benefits at the cost of taxpayers. City vehicles are city property not the officers personal 7-11 munchies cruiser, so they may only use the squad-car while on duty.
