Haven't tried this (no exploiting for me), but if you can stack resists on bards like you can jboots and selos, and have it last til you zone like the speed buff, this means high resist bards possibly with multiple regens and damage shields with permanent selos. This seems not so great on red server. Also could make leveling much too simple too.
