It will probably be quite similar to the Necklace of Superiority being locked down in Charasis when Kunark was first released.
I know you mean Dalnir, but this is a bad example. I got a couple Necklaces of Superiority during the beginning of Kunark, and it was only because the scumbag bedpanners *weren't* at that camp at that time. NoS was actually very civil and had a very trustworthy string of regular Casual players handing off the camps to complete strangers. Person after person after person. Just like the Manastone and Guise of Deceiver in the Days of Yore. Yes, these people still actively sat AT the mobs and literally waited their turn in line but that's to be expected at that point.

TMO were camping Lockets of Escape and Prenerf CoS's to the point where they have a monopoly on them. To this day, if you get a Locket of Escape, it is guaranteed to have TMO Cheeto-Fingerprints on it. But then again, you won't get one in the first place, so it doesn't matter. TMO camped so many Jade Chokidai Prods in a row, along with Xalgoz, that, I swear to God, the casual player didn't even step foot into HS until 2, 3 weeks later. And there was absolutely no way to 'compete' because 'they were there first' and 'they were holding the camp for as long as they could.'

And as how the server has grown, I doubt there will ever be a civil 'list' style for a camp like the NoS. There probably will, I'm just pessimistic. If people like TMO and Rampage were around when Manastone or Rubi BP or Guise was dropping you can guaran-fucking-tee they would have never let anyone else have those items, ever.

So basically, it's up to the neckbeards to leave behind table scraps that they don't want. If there's a good enough item, I can guarantee you there's a person or even a small group of people willing to sacrifice a significant portion of their time to make sure they get that item, and more importantly, you don't.

This is the exact line of rhetoric that these people disguise as 'competiton.' This is the exact line of rhetoric TMO used to Solo-Farm VP for almost 2 years with no one even having a PRAYER of cutting in on their loot.

So really, the best people on the server are the people who dictate 'competition' as staying up days on end playing Everquest with a gang of like-minded ghouls, actively trying to diminish the experience of their fellow players.
