How is the server now? Wife and I said fuck it due to the over population at launch. Wouldn't mind giving it another look now....but I am guessing it is top heavy with bored kiddies ganking anything that moves in the leveling zones...which is a whole nother problem.

Newbie zones arent bad now like it was at launch. There are a bunch of 60s but I would wager that the vast majority have yet to reach 60. Those that have are usually gearing up / raiding at this point.
Ganking is as it was on live IMO. You do get ganked by higher levels sometimes, but its not constant (as long as you arent stupid). Most of the time its just 2-3 people of appropriate level ganking solo peeps. Though mostly I find alliance are just interested in questing and leave me alone if I dont start anything, but not always. I played all weekend long Friday - Monday, I think I got attacked by a 60 maybe twice. Got ganked maybe 6 times total all together (appropriate levels / 60s)
I'm enjoying it. In the evenings US time, the pop dwindles down to around 4k, but at peak when all the euros are on we still break 8k.
