I've gotta say, Vanilla WoW dungeons are almost as unforgiving as EQ dungeons. You spend hours LFG (even if you're a healer or tank because you can only ever find one or the other), it takes a long time to even get to the dungeon (here's looking at quests outside Uldaman), and the dungeons are not linear at all so they themselves take hours, and if you die, the graveyard is hundreds of miles away (wtf BRD corpse run).
I played WoW in vanilla, but I didn't remember it being nearly this bad. I have a new found appreciation for the way they streamlined dungeons starting with TBC by adding meeting stones and segmented wings (kinda like Scarlet Monastery).
