I totally don't disagree there, it's probably a bit over done at the moment. Bottom line is line more people on the server = more people to kill, more guilds, more competition.
Someone new logging onto a 15 year old game is going to be more attracted to a server where there's lfg in channel and active auctioning, than they will be listening to 10 people that don't know constantly spamming semi coherent rage and trolling because they didn't get enough attention as children.

I dont think someone new, excited to play EQ again and greeting the server with "Hey guys, im playing EQ again!!!" will like the classic feel of getting sternly warned by Eunomia not to use OOC for what they remember using it for.
I was gonna add that its kinda weird from someone that was tagged holocaust to be having this stance, as they were home to some of the worst offenders in that anti-social department, personally making sure id never consider joining that crew as id never fit in, i have too much of a big mouth and friction would have ensued right away. But i decided against it because maybe you were the exception.
